Sunday, August 4: Fruitvale Station at The Grand!

 The Conversation will be viewing this film at 11:55 am on Sunday, August 4 at The Grand Cinema and we will  hold a discussion  following the film in The Grand's meeting space. If you have some time, stop by and check it out.

 This film is a crushing blow to the senses but  also an important blow as the nation looks at stand your ground laws and considers a new directive to replace the discretionary judgment of law enforcement. The film is set to leave before next Friday so I hope that if you can;t join us that you will fit it in.

The movie is 1 hour and 25 minutes long. If you would like to arrive after the film is finished please arrive at 1:30 for the discussion.
